Sri Lankan players rejected in India For the first time in history, no one bid.

For the first time in history, no Sri Lankan cricketer will take part in the 2021 Indian Premier League, which will be held in India from April to the first week of June.

Due to the fact that no Sri Lankan players bid for any category at that player auction.

However, Sri Lanka will be represented by Kumar Sangakkara as the cricket director of the Rajasthan Royals, Mahela Jayawardene as the head coach of the Mumbai Indians and Muttiah Muralitharan as the coaching staff of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
