Over 1200kg of Venival which was cut from reserves and hidden in a house in Wekada area in Narangowita, Elpitiya and yesterday night (8thDec) police arrested the suspect.
According to the information reported from the Elpitiya Divisional Anti-corruption Unit, this large amount of stock of venival that found last night worth over Rs.500’000.
After the investigation of this incident, it has revealed that this person had been collecting venival from reserves for sometimes back and also involved in a large scale racket.
