An Audi A6 has been totaled after crashing into a wall near the public library roundabout in Colombo 07 early this morning (29th Dec).
The images show the bonnet of the car having been fully destroyed in the accident which is reported to have taken place around 03 a.m, suspecting that the driver may have lost control of the vehicle after over speeding.
The Police have alerted drivers to adhere to safe driving during the festive season as there is a significant increase in motor accidents reported over the last few days. Special operations have also been started by the Police to apprehend drunk and reckless drivers during this period.
