“Supreme Court Marshal informed that the fire at the Supreme Court basement is under control. But the basement record room situation is yet not properly assessed as heavy smoke.” SC Lawyer Nishan Premathiratne told to media.
Nine Fire Trucks have been dispatched to douse the fire at the Supreme Court Complex, said the Colombo Fire Brigade.
However, the cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
