A woman has been arrested with heroin. According to the police, the suspect was arrested in a raid carried out on a tip off in the Nugepara area in the Peliyagoda Police Division.
18 grams and 625 milligrams of heroin were found in the suspect’s possession. She is a 39-year-old resident of Slave Island.
The suspect is to be produced before the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court today (18th Feb) and remanded for seven days.
