Wildlife officials find 25 sacks of dried cannabis in a cave in the Yala forest

Officers of the Kataragama Wildlife Office today (18th Feb) found 25 sacks of dry cannabis hidden in a cave in the Yala Zone in 03 areas.

The value of the cannabis is over Rs. 10 million, said an official of the Kataragama Wildlife Office.
The suspects involved in the incident had fled at the time of the raid.

The Kataragama Wildlife Office is conducting further investigations.
