The reopening of all State universities in Sri Lanka has been postponed by two weeks.
Education Minister Professor G. L. Peiris informed Parliament today that the universities will not reopen on 27th April as announced.
He said the decision has been taken due to the existing COVID-19 situation in the country.
Minister Peiris further said the heads of all universities will be informed in this regard.
All State universities have been temporarily closed due to the spread of the corona virus in Sri Lanka.
