Police have found two suicide vests hidden in a forest in the Sinnathampanai area in Settikulam, Vavuniya.
The Settikulam Police stated that the two suicide vests were found on a tip off. One of them contains explosives weighing about two and a half kilograms.
The explosives in the suicide vests are still alive and are to be defused by the STF Bomb Disposal Unit on the orders of the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court.
