The Public Health Inspectors (PHI) have requested authorities to seal the borders of all 09 Provinces with immediate effect.
According to the media sources, the PHIs have warned that if such precautionary measures are not taken at present in view of the coronavirus pandemic, the repercussions will be faced in January. The PHIs have further said they have received reports of large scale parties organized for Christmas in various areas.
They pointed out that the PHIs have been vested with powers to take necessary action against those violating health guidelines under the Quarantine and Prevention Ordinance.
