The three-wheeler passenger who was shot by unidentified gunmen in Panadura this morning has succumbed to injuries.
The Police said the victim had died upon admission to the Panadura Hospital.
Two men on a motorcycle had opened fired at the three-wheeler in the Pallemulla area in Panadura today.
The suspects are reported to have fled the area following the incident.
The Panadura North Police are conducting further investigations, while Police Special Task Force personnel have been deployed to secure the crime scene.
