The number of people attending weddings has been revised from the 150 limit to 50, said Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Minister of State for Primary Health Services and Epidemiology.
The move comes in the wake of a nationwide outbreak of the new strain of the COVID-19 virus. The number of people attending public events, funerals and nightclubs has been revised.
