A report has been received from the Kundasale area regarding a property auction held by Hatton National Bank claiming that there is a court order.
Peeople in the area also staged a protest against the Hatton National Bank.
Ms. Vinodani stated that the manager of the Hatton National Bank in Kundasale had defrauded the bank of a loan obtained while mortgaging the house.
She further stated that the Hatton National Bank authorities are taking steps to seize the only property she owns and drag the residents to the streets without returning the money swindled by the bank Branch Manager.
However, the Hatton National Bank top management has fired the branch manager and deputy manager who are believed to have embezzled the money and refused to hand over the money to the aggrieved party.
