Five mobile phones, 11 telephone batteries and 10 SIM cards were found in the possession of the suspects detained at the Kegalle Prison.
That was during a unexpected search by prison intelligence officers. The search operation was conducted at around 8.45 last night (04th Feb).
Meanwhile, three more mobile phones were found in the possession of the suspects involved in the Easter attack in the A4 cell of the Kegalle Prison.
Prison intelligence officers have found two telephones and a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco in the possession of a drug dealer known as ‘Ice khan’.
