Sri Lanka’s leading e-commerce platform turns No.01

Sri Lanka’s leading e-commerce platform celebrates one year since entering into the country’s diverse market.

It is a platform for classifieds and e-commerce is a one-of-a kind market place bringing sellers and buyers together is a local classifieds website that was developed to facilitate and act as a platform for buying and selling needs of its users.

In just over a year, Sambole with the backing of 8 media channels has just become number 2 in terms of inventory, in a much cluttered classified website arena with at least 100 active classified sites operating.

Not only can a customer order goods online and have them delivered, also offers it latest logistic experience “Sambole Pick up”.

To provide an efficient delivery service introduced a new concept in partnership with Lanka IOC and designed 08 Pick Up kiosk points covering Colombo.

How does this work?

When placing an order buyers can now choose the most convenient Pick-Up point which is on the way for the collection of goods.

Orders placed before 10 AM can be picked up on the same day & orders placed after 10 AM can be collected the following day.

Pick Up kiosk operations time are from 11 AM to 8 PM.

This innovative logistics experience was introduced to bridge the flaws in current logistics processes available in the market, where customers don’t have to wait for a call until it’s delivered to the doorstep, unaware of a time the goods will be delivered.

All the products are picked up from warehouses by Sambole riders resulting in a hassle-free process for the seller. supports suppliers by promoting their goods through online marketing and providing them with support to become successful sellers online.
