SL Amarapura, Ramanna sects express disappointment

The Sri Lanka Amarapura – Ramanna Samagari Maha Sangha Sabha announced today(03rd of March) that the government has ignored the Sri Lanka Amarapura and Ramanna Sects, which represent two-thirds of the Maha Sangha in the country.

The Maha Sangha Sabha made this statement citing that the presidential commission’s report on the 2019 April 21st attacks had been handed over only to the Chief Prelates of the Malwatta and Asgiriya Chapters and the Cardinal.

While expressing strong displeasure and regret over this, the Sri Lanka Amarapura – Ramanna Samagari Maha Sangha stressed that the government should act impartially while resolving the country’s problems.
