Interpol has issued red notices against 129 people who have fled to foreign countries after committing various crimes, police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
About 40 of them are wanted for various financial crimes and frauds that have taken place in the country, he said.
In addition, blue notices have been issued by the Interpol against 87 people wanted for other crimes, the spokesman added.
