First Sri Lankan Minister vaccinated for COVID-19

Minister of Wildlife and Forest Conservation C. B. Rathnayake received the COVID-19 vaccination at the Army Hospital in Colombo today(10th Feb)

The Minister’s office said Nuwaraeliya District MP Rathnayake had been forced to self-quarantine on two previous occasions after coming into direct contact with two Covid infected individuals.

According to the Minister’s office, Minister Rathnayake had however, tested negative after being subjected to PCR tests.
