Commercial and charter flights operations set to resume

The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) informed the civil aviation authorities around the world that commercial and charter flights operations to Sri Lanka would be resumed from December 26.

The CAASL as an Aviation Regulator in Sri Lanka would be disseminating the appropriate directives to the travel industry in due course of the opening of Sri Lanka airspace for upcoming commercial and charter frights operations, stated by the CAASL Chairman Upul Dharmadasa.

“The CAASL is dedicated to facilitate in promoting and marketing tourism in Sri Lanka by respective agencies while acting as an exponent to the aviation industry in Sri Lanka under present conditions”. “It is our utmost satisfaction and commitment to encourage the tourists around the globe,” he further said yesterday(11th Dec).
