Bokundara economy closed due to COVID

The Bokundara Economic Center has been closed for four days with effect from today (4th March) due to the reporting of 10 cases of COVID infection, Colombo District Economic Center Chairman Pradip Yasaratne said.

He said that this was taken as a precautionary measure as 10 Poker randomly identified 30 traders at the Bokundara Economic Center and identified them as COVID infected. He further said that PCR inspections will be carried out on all traders at the Economic Center tomorrow as well.

District Secretary Pradeep Yasaratne is also the Chairman of the four Economic Centers in Meegoda, Ratmalana and Bokundara Narahenpita in the Colombo District.
