Ambassadors of Bangladesh, Brazil, Korea and Japan meet the Foreign Minister.

Ambassadors representing Bangladesh, Brazil, Korea and Japan who are staying in Colombo have suddenly met Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and held discussions.

These meetings took place at the Ministry of External Affairs and to enhance Sri Lanka’s ongoing economic, social, political, and reciprocal cooperation with Bangladesh, Brazil, Korea, and Japan, and to liberate Sri Lanka from the COVID-19 epidemic and build a strong economy.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the two sides also focused on the assistance available from these countries.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister’s meeting is being held at a time when Asian countries such as Japan, Bangladesh and Korea have not yet revealed their positions on the resolution against Sri Lanka to be submitted to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on the 9th.
