1st jab to provide immunity for 06 months

The World Health Organization said that the first dose of the AstraZeneca jab will provide immunity for six months against COVID-19.

Previously, the global health body had recommended that the second dose must be administered between 8 to 12 weeks of receiving the jab.

The World Health Organization had noted that the first jab would not have to be administered again even if the period lapses.
