Ministry of Justice said that a decision has been taken to enlist 150 lawyers as Chief Inspectors (CIs) at police stations to provide legal counsel and services to the public in a more efficient manner.
Ministry said in a statement, the lawyers will be enlisted once the Cabinet approval is granted and they will be positioned at police stations covering the 09 provinces,.
The lawyers once enlisted will be trained by the Police and the attorney general’s department.
