09 people have been arrested over the discovery of 200 kg of heroin inside a multi-day fishign vessel in the southern seas of Weligama, said Navy Spokesperson Captain Indika De Silva.
Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to media that a join operation was carried out by the Police Narcotic Bureau, Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Coast Guard based on the intel provided by the State Intelligence Services.
